What is a Retro Retailer? A “Retro Retailer” is either an online store or actual store that sells vintage, retro, dated, evocative, in period style, nostalgic, old world, old-fashioned, out-of-date, passe, or period specific merchandise that is either new, original, or old. If you are looking for retro items to spice up your kitchen, office, or wardrobe, this list will help you in finding the item you are looking for and also few items you can’t live without. These stores are not listed in any particular order. If I have not done a personal review of the business listed below I have not done business with them, so please buy at your own risk. Please let me know if you have any issues with anyone listed. I will take immediate action and delete them off the list. (if you have any stores you want to recommend or if you would like me to look at your business please contact me and let me know. You can email me at Skrach@VividlyVintage.com)

In the “about us” section of their site it reads:

From the sweet smell of “made from scratch” caramel popcorn, to the seemingly endless display of glass penny candy jars, there is alot for your senses to take in.

Hundreds of varieties of nostalgic candy fill the barrels, baskets, and candy jars throughout the store. In addition to the mouthwatering sweets, we also offer several different styles of homemade fudge. Old fashioned glass bottled drinks including RC Cola, Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, and all the varieties of Frostie brand Root Beers and Sodas are also available.

All this is only for openers. The true headliner of our store is the popcorn. Shoppers can sample any of the 45 different flavors of popcorn that we make right here in the store. We provide a wide variety of popcorn flavors from savory and candied to caramels and chocolate covered sensations. We use only the finest ingredients such as real cheese, real butter, real vanilla and the finest Imperial sugars.

Momandpopcorn.com offers our shoppers a convenient, quick and easy way to shop our store online.

Whether you need one gift for that special someone or several gifts for your clients or corporate events – we can help you create unique gift boxes or gift tins for any occasion.

Our customer service is second to none. Give us a call or come in. We would love to meet you.

Sincerely,

Quick note: They seem to be having issues with some areas of the site.

Their website is really reflective of the bygone era and makes you feel you have instantly been transported into a road side “mom and pop” shop store that is on the side of Route 66. They have 3 sections of items that they sell.

Our popcorn is made fresh daily and you can select from 48 different flavors ranging from Pizza to Caramel Espresso to the very popular White Chocolate flavor and then pick what size to order, from the Mini to the Large Bag. It’s quick and easy to order and even more fun to eat. Start below by Selecting a Flavor and proceed through the steps until you finally add to your basket and purchase your order.”

So if you are looking for the perfect for that retro-ist in your family, friends, or co-workers this may be the exact gift you need. Popcorn and candy has been in our lives longer than the automobile.

I absolutely love the design and attention of detail in this site. It really gave me an instant thought of route 66 even before I seen the sign at the bottom of the page.  Anyone want to buy me some popcorn???

Mom & Popcorn.com has a blog as well. You can check their blog out by going to: http://www.momandpopcorn.com/blog/
